The world's largest semiconductor packaging and testing company, Riyueguang Group, has been active in the past two years. Following the expansion or new production operations of the Kaohsiung and Kunshan plants on both banks in 2010, the company officially established an operating headquarters in Shanghai in the mainland region in 2011. In the next 8 to 10 years, at least RMB 24 billion will be invested in the Shanghai Jinqiao Processing and Export Park, equivalent to NT$110 billion, and a total investment of RMB 40 billion will be invested in the Greater Shanghai area, hoping to build Shanghai's largest packaging and testing park.
